Colleen has many years of experience teaching art to K-12 children. Colleen has taught hundreds of students over the years, working with the Great Schools Partnership in Knoxville, the Knoxville Museum of Art, the University of Tennessee, Boys & Girls Clubs, Thursday Connection Homeschool Cooperative, and Williamson County Schools in Nashville. She has a passion for helping her students experiment with many different media – everything from oil pastels to stop-motion animation and puppet building!

She loves to work intuitively, experimenting with color and texture. Currently, Colleen is experimenting with combining animation and movement with abstract painting.
